Kennedy Park Skatepark: A Local's Guide
Kennedy Park is the area's premier concrete skatepark, and it's where Boardgarden runs most of our skate lessons and camps. Built in 2015, the roughly 30,000-square-foot concrete park features two deep bowls and a range of obstacles suited to riders from total beginners to advanced skaters looking to push their limits.

Best Times for Beginners
Early mornings (8 AM - 11 AM) and weekday afternoons tend to be quieter. Weekends draw a highly experienced crowd. If you're just starting out, getting comfortable on these quieter windows is key.

Helmets are non-negotiable for beginners, especially children. Boardgarden is located just minutes away from Kennedy Park and stocks full pads, safety kits, and provides tune-ups for old setups.
