1. Acknowledgement of Risks
I understand and acknowledge that skateboarding, snowboarding, longboarding, and related activities ("Boarding Activities") involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, fractures, cuts, bruises, serious physical injuries, and property damage. I choose to participate (or allow my child to participate) in Boardgarden programs with full knowledge and appreciation of these risks.
2. Equipment & Safety Gear
Boardgarden requires all riders under 18 years of age to wear appropriate safety equipment, including a properly fitted helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. I agree to provide or rent compliant safety equipment and accept sole responsibility for ensuring safety gear is worn at all times during lessons or camps.
3. Medical Authorization
In the event of an emergency, illness, or accident during Boardgarden activities, I hereby authorize Boardgarden staff to obtain emergency medical treatment, transport, and care for the participant named below if I cannot be immediately reached. I agree to assume full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.
4. Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Boardgarden, its owner Kevin O'Brien, coaches, instructors, sponsors, and property operators from any liability, claims, or demands arising out of injury, loss, or damage sustained by the participant during boarding instruction, camps, or community events.
